(un)Common Portraits

This series of portraits celebrates the residents of the Commons co-housing community in Santa Fe, New Mexico. All 76 residents were asked to bring an object that expresses their passion and/or ties them to the community. For the background, I built a coyote fence to mimic the Santa Fe style fence that creates the boundary of our beloved property.

Special thank you to Rosy and Kim for offering their living room for the studio and to the Creativity Committee for supporting the production of the accompanying book, (un)Common Life: Portraits.
