Pecans, Goats and Microbiology
Pecan grower Josh Bowman and soil microbiologist David C. Johnson highlight the importance of building healthy soils through the use of cover crops and the integration of livestock. They hope to inspire other growers in southern New Mexico, where pecans are the predominant crop, by demonstrating a healthier and more profitable path forward.
